Vintage Sansui Amplifier, Equalizer, and Cassette Deck Picture(s) and Description:

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a Vintage Top of the line Sansui Integrated Amplifier and the much sought after SE-88 Graphic Equalizer. The Sony dubbing cassette deck is also the top of the line. I am throwing the cassette deck in for free because I can not open or eject the cassettes although it was working fine the other day. These units cost about $300 each in the late 80's when I was in the military. I am not an audiophile but ask me a question before bidding and I will try my best to answer them. FOR SALE: 1.) Sansui AU-G77X Integrated amplifier. It is an X-balanced Amp with 110wx2 power. It has Input Selector for vinyl, CD, tuner and tape. It provides very strong and well balanced analog power. http://www.audioinfo.net/sansui/xbal.htm 2.) Sansui SE-88 Graphic Equalizer. This is a remote-controlled 14 bands graphic equalizer with independent left and right control. It has real-time spectrum analyzer with peak hold setting. It has five programmable settings that can be stored in memory. 3.) Sony TC WE835S. This is Sony's top of the line dubbing cassette deck. With Dolby S sound quality that is comparable to that of CDs. There is also a remote control with the Sony TC-WE835S ( not included ) which is rare with a tape deck. It has auto recording levels, RMS recording, and peak search with compatible CD players/changers. Manufacturer description: Now this is complete control. Not only is the pace under your command with the wide-range pitch control, but you get Dolby S Noise reduction (the cleanest available), faster high-speed fast-forward and rewind, twin recording, and a twin counter that reads both minutes and seconds. If you like to control your music like a musician or sound engineer then this is the cassette deck that belongs in your system. Dual Cassette Decks allow playback of cassettes in either of the two handy built-in decks. Record from one cassette to the other or from a separate source device, such as a CD player or AM/FM radio. Both cassette decks have auto reverse mechanisms, allowing for long-term listening and recording capabilities. Twin/Sequential Recording allows you to record two tapes at once or two tapes sequentially. Dolby S-Type Noise Reduction is an advanced Dolby system, reducing noise, distortion, and high-frequency compression. Mid-frequency noise is reduced by 24 dB. Dolby B & C Noise Reduction greatly reduces irritating tape hiss while increasing dynamic range on Dolby B or Dolby C encoded cassettes. Dolby HX Pro Headroom Extension varies the amount of recording bias according to the music's high-frequency content. As a result, the circuit extends high-frequency headroom, and the system is compatible with any playback deck, whether or not it has HX Pro circuitry. High Speed Dubbing allows you to make a copy of your favorite cassette for personal enjoyment. Record one side of a 60-minute cassette from another cassette in approximately 5 minutes. Bias and Record Calibration uses a built-in oscillator to optimize recording parameters, matching any specific tape. Automatic Record Level senses incoming signals and sets levels for low noise, low distortion. CD Synchro Record simplifies making tapes from CDs by releasing from Record/Pause mode when the CD Player goes into Play mode. Full-Logic Tape Transport provides electronic, rather than mechanical, control of the drive system of the cassette deck. It delivers more reliability, smoother operation, and quicker one-touch control. Wide-Range Pitch Control allows you to alter playback tape speed, adjusting the musical pitch to your singing voice or musical instrument. RMS Track Programming plays songs in the sequence you choose. Multiple AMS Track Search lets you automatically skip up to 9 tracks forward or back. Switchable MPX Filter blocks the 19kHz multiplex tone of FM stereo broadcasts. Switching it on allows proper Dolby NR tracking when you record off the air. Relay Play automatically plays the cassette in Deck B after Deck A is finished. High-Density Permalloy Heads offer high maximum flux density to reproduce music with wider dynamic range. Automatic Level Control takes the guesswork out of your recordings. When a signal is detected by the recording unit, it automatically senses the level of the music, and sets the recording levels for the highest quality recording and lowest distortion levels.
